AE101 dash

i just got an AE101 dash...actually was thinking to get AE111's dash but tht potong shop oni got 1 left...but condition damn 9 lousy.
brought this dash to my mech and i told him shud b no problem to fit in...but then when he tried just now....the dash cant fit in...too long!

aduh~~he said left side or right side maybe need to be cut???!!!???

chin, did u cut urs?or can fit in without any cut??

i oni bought the dashboard frame....will be using bck all the internals like cooling coil...blower and others..

i read ur web so many times liao....but still dunno whether u cut it...

but saw another photo showing no cut there.....

so will it fit without cutting???

If read so many times also cannot see then you need spectacle lor. How about this one now?

the secret is do not cut the lether cover, open carefully, cut the plastic / fiberglass then cover back using the original lether.

if you use back all original blower and what lot, then you've got a completely different problems than me....... very very different method you using ......

I used all the blowers and what lot from 1/2 cut

sry chin...i did see this foto and was discussing this foto with a fren just now...i asked him whether it's a cut there...and he said maybe u cut there mah...

then i dun understand how to stick the side back after cutting it...now i understand liao...oni cut the inside...

wah then i must remember not to get 101 dash. how much does a dash cost? tauhu2 you bought it without other things ar?

still dunno wether to get AE111 dash or AE86 dash. feel like keeping it old school. but my dash still in near perfect condition, no crack, maybe the color change abit nia.. only complain is no tacho.

hey why you curi my dashboard picture ?!?!? :lol: this one is fxgt ae101 dashboard or 6 speed wagon dashboard ... i think wagon usually come wih this type of dashboard ... B)

the one i saw even got carbon panel at the aircond flaps..
