Here's my take,
First determine the sort of ride experience you wish to have - like are you willing to sacrifice comfort for performance or all out comfort. One thing for sure, to get a good balance between confort and performance is damned difficult and expensive. For example, TEIN Drive Master Coilover is designed for such demand (road use), but the price tag is enough to buy two Corolla KE70!.
And if possible try to avoid Eibach Springs for AE101 Corolla, specially if you are running engines other than the standard 4A-FE. This is because all AE101/AE111 springs available here in Malaysia are meant for AE101/AE111 Corolla with stock engine that bear the right weight. If you have to use Eibach then look for AE101/111 Levin/Trueno sets (if you are running 20V engines). I would not use Eibach again (used twice before in both of my AE101 Corollas) because it is a progressive springs that can actually cause your ride to look a bit senget here and there. The last time I used Eibach was in combination with KONI shocks, yes it was a splendid combo. But after changing to 20V engine, the front end seem to be under stress to hold right - true enough after 3 months my front KONI shocks went bust TWICE - this is simply because the EIBACH springs are not strong enough to support the new weight and let the Shocks handle the full load.
So what do I recommend, for balanced performance go for Tokico Japan (GAS) built for Levin AE101 and combine it with Performance Springs like TEIN, Tanabe, Apex or KG/MM
If you are looking for outright performance, go for TEIN HA or Cusco Short Stroke Coilovers from Halfcut Shops - should be priced from RM1400 to RM2000 depending on condition.
