anybody know abt performance toyota celica? st185 better or st205 better? now im thinking to convert celica engine inside my corona.... :o and anyone can tell me the price of the halfcut...... st185 n st205..... plz........ TQ..... :rolleyes:

Yes you can installl 3SGE or 3SGTE inside. Performance? 2 litre engine if N/A expect the usual stuff. If turbo, its always what you could afford and what you can do.

Both would mount nicely inside the Corona. I think need very minor mods if i remember. Another forumer KEVINC has that last time. Maybe he can provide brief info on it again. Else you can search for the other celica titles and you might come up with what u need. :)

205 better

air water ic instead of air air, map instead of afm, boost cut at 1.2bar instead of 1 bar. stock bypass valve (factory bov). higher torque.
newer engine than the 185, oldest is 1993 versus 1989 for the 185.

where's kevin, he knows more coz he used the 205 engine b4.

i've found a 205 halfcut at one of the potong kereta at puchong... but the price quite expensive... :(
