carisma, does the bottom block have piston , crankshaft, flywheel, oil pump, water pump, and what is the overall condition of the piston rings??

want to swap 4g63 vr4 block + vr4 shot peened rods + triple layer metal gasket + steel crankshaft ?? free flywheel for u also + some cash ehehehe

problem is how to send back?

Eterna: u know wht is Block Assy? means only the block... and this is wht the shop has to offer... takan i ask him to put in all TODA2323 kit then beli balik??? haiyo hehehe... can u give me trade in also i sell to u the same price hahaha....

1. how to make a compresion test on your engine....

2. i heard that when using firestar launch control is not good for your intake... anybody cares to explain?...

i would think it is more harsh on the exhaust valves , manifold and turbine..........

compression test and leak down test is pretty easy actually.just stick the gauge down at where your spark plug is then thats it.....

even though now no more 4g63T owner but all this are based on my previous car...=)

could u be more specific?.... how can the launch control do that?

compression test, take out spark plug, put compression gauge there and then take out fuse for fuel and ignition..... then crank the car bout 5-6 times and read the reading lah.......

leakdown a bit more complicated...gotta remove rocker cover....remove cams and put pressure nossle connected to compressor and shoot inside and listen where got leak, eg, intake manifold, or exhaust :)

firestar launch control bad for turbo ? i dont think soo.....its just a device that intecepts the ecu to bring the rev limiter down rite ? unless u talking bout wear and tear .......

yo tailo SDF ,

heres the image of the FICD , looks simple to install but can tell me where to route the actuator & the sorce hose ?.

as for the wires 1 wire is to earth 1 more have to tap the aircond wire where it activates the compressor .. but then the sorce for the hose i donno where to tap it .. if im free i`ll drop down GT la .
