4A - FE gearbox

harlo 2 all sifu here..Im driving an auto AE 101 n nowdays i found tat my gearbox got problem..but not sure yet..well,the problem is liddis :

1. When i pull from R to D,the whole car will shake n vibrate terribly,last time oso got but not so terrible.

2. N when i pull it to L n tekan minyak kuat kuat(RPM
Now i jz suspect is gearbox problem lar,but not yet let mech chech yet..so wat to do now all sifu?isit the time 2 change de gearbox?
but sure damn mahal 1 lor..sigh..

did you convert anything? or standard?

If standard, please check your mounting. If not mistaken, should be gear box mounting already spoiled. And it make your engine not in water line.

It's standard..huh??what u mean by gearbox not in mounting line?Izzit the ratio out?or the gear box mounting rubber pad stuff?cz gearbox stuff i have no idea at all 1..hehe..Engine not in water line?do u mean de temperature or wat?thxx anyway...

i think what scomatic meant was due to the worn out gearbox mounting, your engine position already not aligned in perfect horizontal position (water line).
recommend u better go to workshop, ask them to check on the status of your gearbox mounting.

diffrent shop diffrent price lor...ask the sifu's maybe got recommended shop..good workmanship, and also good price..i also dunno where can find good mech..good workmanship and price not dammmm expensive...

any sifu's outhere can help us!!!

If normal 1... Around 80 bulk....
If OEM... around 120 bulk
IF like me... TRD used part from Japan - total all mounting about RM650 (convert from yen to RM) :mouth_closed:

I think better go for experiance foremen to check 1st.

I think the part just buy local or oem also can coz normally it can tahan more than 1 year mar...... But used from japan ar..... depend the luck lor..... hehehehe

No it difference... Do you believe, now my engine didn't shake at all.
when use the engine brake also, the engine also no shaking.
But these type of mounting no use for normal street using lor...and this normally will be using on the racing track only.

But if you want to buy the normal mounting, then i much much prefer you to buy the new 1, not expensive lor.

Ermm... normally for short term is no problem, but if long term the problem will affected other thing already. The foremen told me like this.
BTW, please go to check 1st better. loose abit of money, better than lost the big money lor...
Finally, don't worry the whole car won't fly away 1. hahaha

okok..i will try n check it 1st. Me study at pahang lar,ery week bk KL 3 days nia..haiz..Kuala Lipis no foreman can trust 2 lar..what i scared is when i drive back the car will affected others parts lor..anyway i now at Kl d..haiz..u gt free time?try look 4 me 1st lar..hahaha..

RM650.00, my friend (Fukui, Japan) took it from track car (AE92) for me. :_:
TRD original, and now already stop production already.

Feel? very good at respone lo.... Then when want to play engine brek at cornering, the whole engine will be very smooth and will get more touqe when cornering.

Previously i got saw someone selling at zerotohundred also, and the price is RM800.00. I forgoted who is that fellow already. But 1 thing very sure is, it very very hard to find lor... My friend saw it since I'm on project converting the engine.

well,now i ve change all de mounting liao but it still appear de vibration..anyway,compare to before,it's so so much better..the foreman said need to service or change the gearbox..even change the engine..so shall I?damn xpensive man..thx 4 all ur advices..
