I had my waja low beam r/h bulb kaput 3x in 2 years!

The 3rd time went kaput was last night, still the r/h side.

Sadly, it was an expensive investment of PIAA bulb (can last 6 mths).

Had anyone (Waja owner) encountered the same problem?

Any solution? Pls suggest me what best for replacement i.e. Philip BlueVision or Osram Silverstar, etc.

Where to get them at best price?

Cheers!

Sad and sorry to hear from your story.

BTW i'm not a Waja owner but couple of friends of mine did and i encounter their bulbs were burnt out easily. There were the Fr head lights lower beam, rear red parking and break lights and their fog lights.]
I think is their charging problem, not properly regulated and may be too high voltage.
After i installed one of my friends car with my DIY voltage stabilizer, after 7 month, everything seems ok and none of the bulbs went kaput.
Hope this idea would help:) :) :D

Thanks Lix

Perhaps u r right as what the accessories shop had advised me.

Then, I fixed the PIVOT volt stabilizer at the same time together with the PIAA and a 5-point grounding wires but still kaput!

Any other possible solutions?

i bought osram kaput less than 6 month...

being told..it's the waja headlight wiring defect...

just change the wire set holding the bulb...then everything ok liao

TypicalGuy

How much cost you for the change?

Does that mean I have to change both or just the r/h side? Coz only the r/h giving me the problems.

Cheers!

dude, change it to HID system..voilaa..problem gone!!!...

p/s: yep, it's true though waja headlight easy to kaput..dunno y, perhaps manufacturer defects..

2 bad!

4 ur info., i m a waja car owner n encounted such problems s u 2

4 me @ based on my knowledge, tis problems occured most probabry is bcoz waja d supply of electric power is not consitent

d best way 2 overcome o command tis is 2 change 2 car head lighting system 2 hid (solution @ recommendation)

althought it is quite costly but i think is worth n just initial

no problem 4 me n most of my friedns who driving waja after alternation

i did used those piaa n philips car head light bulbs s u said o mentioned b4 but i think o my comment is useless n unable 2 solve

heh ehhe, the guys in the service center will most probably say this " Aiyaa ini proton maa , apa lu mau ?" Mesia Bleh!

u r right bro.

Usually send to Edar for service and complaint the h/light problem. U know the answer I got " .... Abang, ini problem biasa waja ... " Hell! If you know it's a common problem, so, what hv u done with it?

Keep on selling defective product? .... a sucker is born!

Now no more sending to Edaran .... just a pokok cherry workshop will do!

HID? That's a good idea. But quite abundance of choice ... donno which one to go for.

Any advise, pls?

Hi guys....

I m very new here n need some advice frm members. Like 2 make friens too.Hope get warm welcome..... :)

I own a Waja 1.6 M and facing a problem same problem with the headlamp get burnt out.The story... Recently i ve changed all the bulbs (hi/lo) to a bright/white 55w Hammer (RM 48/pair) bulb coz the stock bulb not bright enough n tak cantik oso. After bout 1 week..my lo beam burnt!. I ve 2 changed back to stock bulb...ok untill now(wonder why stock bulb can tahan??) . I m wondering my hi beam also wont last. I really dont like the stock bulb..so dim.So need ur advice...wat 2 do. I m afraid if change to a pricey/branded bulb..it might burnt oso in no time n burnt my poket oso.

Just do like wat my fren did..change the wire of it like Typical GUy adviced. Very cheap..20+ can get..if change a better wire tht can stand 100W..then should be around 30+...it will not blow so fast any more..!

rzaneil..if u wan in long term..just buy HID..hehe..

Ic...juz the wire n connector only.. do i need to add any relays or other stuufs??

HID is cool rite..get amazed to see their light. Really like 2 hev one installed but...pricey laaa..I ve never seen a waja with HID light...sure looks cool! Any idea guys how to get the murah one..?mean..affordable and dependable..

Btw..thanks fritz 4 ur prompt rply..

ok first of all, did u has lower ur car?

because waja is using H1 bean. and H1 bean wire is very very thin. until u shake few time, if will putus aldi.
so during u drive ur car, and the shake will cause the bean wire putus.

Out of topic : hii to all waja owner... do u guys interesting to join a waja group?

change the whole wiring set which uses direct current from battery n thru a 2 relays...
result is head lamp xtra bright...quite worth the money i'll say...it cost me rm 50 wit installation....

yea
even though if u change to hid, ur bulb wont go, but ur controller from your ballast to your blub will blow.
personal experience.. using hid 8500k, right sight also kaput. took it to the shop, luckily it is just the starter n not the bulb... cost me 50 bucks to fix it.
if u want to be sure, put the grounding wires, but put two points on the right hand side.
just my 2sen

dudes,

HID legal or illegal?wat do u think bout this issue?
It was illegal if not stock dat's wat i had been told by a fren running jpj everday one,he told me the jpj told him dat unless if it is stock then it's fine, modified one is illegal.
Those bulbs that makes opposite drivers' eyes feel uncomfortable are illegal if they are not stocks.

is that true ???
comment plz .

Nope..mine standard frm factory-not lowered. Mabe its true wat u said..the wire is so thin..wonder how it will withstand such heat. Think better opt for a better one that can stand heat.

U might be rite...coz its consider modification frm the original. i m oso trying to get info frm jpj to verify this or at least can get their rules bout this. Oso try to read the Act itself. but wat ever it is..if can afford..i m sure go for Hid one. In term of safety...i wont compromise. There s nothing diiferent frm stock n using hid kit...the light will cucuk mata oso.seems like double standard la. thats my view.. :D
