Does anyone have a rough idea on how much these engines cost:

- F20C
- H22A
- B20B

And which ones can be fitted in to Civic EK. Doing some research for a friend.

Thanks. I'd say B20B would be the easiest to find around here. What about F20C and H22A?

Just research purposes. Someone looking to do a 2-litre conversion of EK, but will prefer auto. Not for dragging or racing, just to be a daily driver. Wants to keep the EK body, but have 2-litre engine so no need to tekan so much for power.

I'm concerned about longevity. A B16 + B20B swap like that might not last as long as an engine that was designed for 2000cc. I know its cheap and easy, but would like to keep my options open for now.

But H22A, will it fit nicely in EK? I've seen them in an EG, the engine bay damn cramped. Hard to change parts.

How about registration from 1.6 to 2.2?

You have any idea how much H22A costs?

will fits into EK lah.....thats for sure.....
for regis........i oso no idea......mayb muz belanja 'kopi' kua..... ;)
bout fr rm4k-rm7k kua...depends on SV4 or CL1 Euro-R loh.....

Surely the spare parts are harder to find compared to B series right? You mean 7K can get H22A red cover one?

10K complete car.... cash buyer here... really interested...

klip pasang this weekendlar meor..heheh
aja, the maintenance is oklor, a bit expensive than b16a i might say, timing belt = rm1000++, clutch (standard) = rm900++, service more expensive lor cause the cc is bigger. other than that the car is good man. even without the vtec kicks in pun the car can go very fast ma, so, selamatlar jugak, don't have to bukak vtec everytime...heheh.
fuel consumption...from jb to kl (tmn pelangi to petaling jaya) about rm45 and still has some fuel left.

here are some info from my fren using h22a..rizal advised to u,if u wanna change to 2 litre..better take h22a..its really suitable for ek body..if b20,the engine originally dont have vtec..taken from crv halfcut..

But why do some tuners say H22A does not go well with EK? The system is different. Lot of work for conversion.

Halim,

You know roughly the total price of fully converting H22A into EK. Everything included: engine, headers, intake, gearbox, etc.

those Tuner muz b fr malaysia......& not BolehLand......
ppl in US, put NSX's C30A into EK coupe lah...... ;)
